Like a lot of you I see our pets as a member of our family. And as such, I believe they should eat the best food possible and for dogs that means all natural dog food.

There are many all natural dog foods on the market these days which is great, but it can be confusing. Your best bet would be to consult with your veterinary before purchasing as he/she has an intimate knowledge of your dog and can guide you in the right direction. At the very least if you have a PetSmart or other major pet store in the area you can ask one of their associates. I’ve found them to be very helpful.

Feeding your dog a diet that’s rich in nutrition without preservatives and other things that you can’t pronounce will help prevent against some common diseases associated with diet.

I didn’t always feed my dogs all natural food, but when I started about 5 years ago I did notice an improvement in their coats and the older ones definitely were more spry. It also makes me feel good to know that I’m feeding them something that doesn’t adversely affect their health and may actually increase their longevity and energy.

If you can I would highly recommend feeding your dog(s) all natural food dog food. I know it’s more expensive than the generic brands you find in the grocery store, but if you can afford it please consider it. It really is worth it and you and your dog(s) will reap the benefits ten-fold.
